Best Chinese in town! Great service and great food. I’m so glad we come here weekly if not bi weekly. I know it’s a little weird to come to a Chinese restaurant to order fried chicken but that’s what I get with fried rice. It’s amazing. Don’t forget to try their crab Rangoons— literally the best. If you see reviews about their food is bland, etc. I’m sure they’re just upset because prices everywhere. Not just that one is going up but it’s the whole world. We know the owners and their absolutely wonderful people and very sweet! Give them a try.

Dined inside. Ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken and General Tso's Chicken. Came here with some cravings for chinese, and generally speaking, most spots are mid at best. This spot is not "superior" with flavors that are out of this world, but I think it is exceptional in it's simplicity and has authentic flavor profiles, which in my mind is exactly what I was looking for. The sweet and sour was impressively good and one of the best I've ever had. Very well put together meal. The curb appeal is not the best quite frankly, but the food is very impressive. This is our favorite chinese spot in town.

Fresh, delicious food! Everything tastes homemade, nothing like restaurant supply type food. Prices are great especially for these days. Fast friendly service, and they triple check your order.

They are absolutely the sweetest people ever on the phone and in person; especially when I bring my daughter along they always say hi to her and always there to answer her silly questions. I’ve been ordering from them since I was in high school. The food is great and always fresh.

This place was amazing. For such a small corner store you wouldn’t think you’d find takeout Chinese food as good as China1. Food was hot, egg rolls were mouth watering, & the chicken chow mein was delicious. We were staying in an area hotel & the cashier at China1 provided us plates & utensils for our meal. The best takeout Chinese I’ve had in a long time.

It's old, but the taste is legendary. The place is not a fine dining date night kind of place, but hear me out: the food is as good as it gets. I tried panda express and chow time around here, but I would say China 1 has got it right when it comes to authentic chinese cooking. Imagine yourself traveling to China and eating great grandmother's cooking. That's what you'll get. None of the messy fancy chemicals, but just the pure spices and the ingredients coming through. I stopped by on Wednesday at 1148 and I was done with my food by 1220. I ordered the fried rice with chicken wings which came out to 9. Which is cheaper than Mc Donalds or any fastfood meal deal. I believe I got 7-8 fried pieces with a generous amount of fried rice. The container was packed to the full. The Chicken was marinated to perfection, and the golden crisp of the skin was not overly breaded nor soggy. It was a delight to bite into the crunchiness of the skin and into the juicy chicken meat. The fried rice was also easy to enjoy because it wasn't sticky and it also wasn't too salty. The rice went together perfectly with the chicken. It's impossible to get a decent meal for 9 these days, but China 1 is doing it right.

This is by far the best Chinese in all of Panama city for 100 miles. i didn't care to eat Chinese till my wife brought this home.
